Winifred Ashby
Beloved wife of Harry Lechmere Clift.
She was a servant of the church and a succourer of many. Romans 16:1 2*
She together with her husband founded Emmanuel Church.
For the glory of God

The church continues today in Hong Kong and is known as the Emmanuel English Church.
*In Romans 16 verses 1 and 2 Paul talks of Phoebe, a deacon of the early church - 'she has been the benefactor of many people.'
