To the left of the Standard Chartered Bank was Hang Chong Building at 5 Queen's Road Central. Some comments here on the basement canteen/restaurant operated by the Malaysian-Singapore Association in the 1970s
If the basement of Hang Cheong Building was concerned, I believe it was rented out to McYuck back in the mid to late 1970's when they invaded Hong Kong. As far as I could recall that was their twelth store in town then. McYuck stayed there until the building was demolished.
