In 1960 the Supt of KWP was ' Dusty ' Rhodes, one of the few ex Shanghai Municipal Policemen ,(originally numbering about 40,who had been recruited to Hong Kong in the immediate post-war period,) to remain in HK, most left on completion of their 2 year contract. I have their details.

Hello there,
I am responding to the post above about Kowloon Wharf Police and Dusty Rhodes. I believe he was my great uncle George Frederick Rhodes who I am researching as part of my family history. If anyone has any further information about him, I would be grateful. I know he was in Shanghai in the 1930’s in the police, and then in Hong Kong. Thank you!

In response to the post for information about Dusty Rhodes I may be able to help.
I am his son and live in Hong Kong. My father died in Auckland, New Zealand in July 1990 where he retired after leaving the KWP.
If the person seeking seeking information can let me know how I can help I can try my best to do so.
