Gerald H S Rose married Elizabeth J Pretty in Lothingland Suffolk Quarter 3 1956 so presumably he was reunited with his Rose family post-war. He and his wife were living in Church Road Willesden in 1956.
Dawn Mary Rose was registered as a Nurse 10 August 1953 Kingston Hospital Surrey. She died in 1975 in Surrey aged 43. Her date of birth was 28 January 1932.
My very good friend Gerald Hembdon Seymour Rose was born on 27 July 1935, married Elizabeth 'Liz' Jane Pretty on 28 July 1955, and died on 5 May 2023. Liz was born on 30 June 1933 and died on 16 March 2020.
Gerald's mother Rachel Grace Rose died on 2 May 1943 in Stanley POW camp. His sister Dawn Mary Rose was born in 1931 and is still very much alive in England.
