Robert Fraser Forbes was married to the daughter of Edwin Henry and Celestina Summers, whose name I haven't been able to discover. He appears in the Jurors List as working for Mustard & Co. His address is given as 7 Aimai Villas, Kowloon, which was also an address of E.H. Summers.

There is a Robert F Forbes living with an Elizabeth Forbes
Elizabeth Forbes, possibly née Summers
Thank you for finding Elizabeth Forbes. I'll keep an eye open for a possible Elizabeth Summers in the DGS school prize lists and suchlike. It would be nice to complete the family.
Elizabeth Forbes
It is only guesswork at present but I found a passenger list where an Elizabeth Forbes gave her reason for travel as to meet my husband. I'll follow that up.
Robert Fraser Forbes's wife Eva Margaret Summers
Carl Smith Card 145533 card solves the mystery
It details the will of Celestine Summers and includes reference to " Robert Forbes husband of my daughter Eva Margaret" and their children Jean Celestine Forbes, Monica Margaret Forbes and Robert Anthony Forbes. Her will was dated 1940 and she died in Queensland in 1942. Her will states that ..."as long as Robert Forbes, husband of my daughter Eva Margaret Forbes is living to pay her income. Upon her death to her children Jean Celestine Forbes, Monica Margaret Forbes and Robert Anthony Forbes when aged twenty one, upon the death of Robert Forbes husband of my daughter Eva Margaret Forbes Trust to be paid to said daughter". It sounds as if the whereabouts of Robert Forbes were unknown in 1940 and that he was excluded from inheriting form Celestine Summers. The will was not probated until 1946.
