Doug took his photo looking across the Deep Water Bay Valley from Repulse Bay Road to the southern and eastern slopes of Mount Nicolson. Clearly visible, running along the side of Mount Nicolson is Deep Water Bay Road from Wong Nei Chung Gap (out of sight on the right) down to Aberdeen. The huge house on the right is 16 Repulse Bay Road, which judging by the 2012 photo below, seems to have undergone a few changes since 1961.
