Ten metres above Sir Cecil Ride, there is a Japanese tunnel. It's entrance is rather large with a typical " entrance cutting" seen on most Japanese tunnels. The entrance is rather small.
Japanese tunnel around 10 metres deep. Looking at the Lidar scan of HK Island, there should be another tunnel located further up the hill behind and to the right of this tunnel.
Probably for an Antiaircraft gun.
Japanese tunnel next to the Dragon's Trail. Opening is through a small crack through a thin wall of concrete. Around 8-9 feet in length, with a length of around 60 metres. The first section of the cave is quite wide and spacious, with a side chamber to the left, however it narrows into a small squarish passageway for around 5 metres, until you reach a vertical shaft with a rock pile, from which you can climb to reach an exit, which has a clear view of the bay below.
A Japanese tunnel but only hollowed out into a large room; there do not appear to be any collapsed tunnels. Consistent with other Japanese fortifications in the area. Some bricks found inside. The latitude and longitude are correct but the cave is on the west side of the stream, not the east.
The tunnel is about ten metres above the trail on a slope. The entrance is quite large and the first leg goes in about ten metres before turning right for two metres, then continuing on for another ten metres before turning left. It then terminates in a dead end.
This tunnel is around 20 metres long, but leads to a dead end. There is an access trench leading to it. I found this tunnel through SCMP's video by the name of "Digging up Hong Kong's wartime past". Looks to be for a antiaircraft gun.
there is a literal Japanese tunnel on this road. I am actually shocked that no one has found it yet. It's probably the only tunnel in Hong Kong, with an intact reinforcement wall and remains of a shutter.
On the way to visit this pillbox, I noticed a large tunnel immediately next to it. It had been gated off, but looks extremely large.
At the entrance to the trail. Rain uncovered it. Didn't explore it, only spotted a big shaft-like tunnel leading down into earth. Probably Japanese tunnel. Next to concrete steps. Very obvious.
