The first generation of this property became the Church of SS Peter and Paul (Russian Orthodox Church) post-war until its closure in September 1970 (see https://orthodoxy.hk/parish/history_of_parish/).
The original building (one of the original Kowloon Tong villas) was knocked down circa 1979 and redeveloped into the current property.
