Every day I pass by the corner around Ede Road and Cornwall Street, there is a remarkable stony wall remaining under the big banyan fig tree.
I searched the old map, once it was the site of the end of the long drainage waterway in 1930s. Later from the map of 1967, it was the site of the Pump House which still existed in the map of 1982. Therefore, the stony remaining wall should be the remnant of the Pump House.
