years before 1900 not allowed for input

I came across this in the Event period under [+Book]. Seems it is not allowed to choose any year before the 20th century now. Previously, it looks allowed to input years before 1900, e.g. in 2017, 2022.

I confirm this is a bug - the software we use has a hard-coded limit of 1900-2050 when entering the year of a date range. I can see several suggested solutions, so I'll see what can be done.
