A U. S. citizen and one of the older men in Stanley Camp. He resided in Hong Kong and gave his occupation as "merchant" on the Gripsholm passenger list. The Shanghai Evening Post and Mercury newspaper mentioned that he worked as manager for Paul E. Sammann Fed. Inc., in Hong Kong.
Interned together with Lily Greenfield in Stanley Camp and repatriated to the United States in 1942. Resided in San Francisco after repatriation.
