Born in Bombay (Mumbai). Isaac Silas Hardoon appears in the 1941 Jurors List. He was employed as a clerk in E. D. Sassoon Banking Co., Ltd. He was married to Lily Hardoon.
The family comprising Charles Isaac (b. 1914), Abraham Isaac (b. 1922), Diane Isaac (b. 1924), Sophie (b.1926), John (b.1928), Jackie (b.1930) and Matilda (b.1935) were all interned at Stanley Camp. They were repatriated to Bombay, British India after the war.
Isaac Hardoon died in Australia shortly after repatriation.
