Hunghom bay in 1987. One can see the newly built Whampoa gardens on the right and hunghom bay center on the left. They were built on the site of the former Whampoa Dockyard. The 1979 built pier to North point and wanchai is visible on the left edge of photo. It was moved in 1988 to Hunghom bay center. The whole bay disappeared around 1995 when the reclamation was complete.
