HK locals will know the Tiger Balm history already but I didn't. I didn't realise that Tiger Balm Mansion and Haw Par Mansion were one and the same. Definitely the least glamorous part of the house, but as the family company run by my uncle, Leslie Warren, put in the sanitation and hot water systems to ensure that Mr Aw Boon Haw and his family would have as many hot baths as they wanted after the house was built in 1936, I was interested to know more about it and the owners, as additionally summarised in the following website:
