Back in 2009, the location of the marker was read off a Qstarz GPS logger, placed on top of the milestone for the record. There is a physical button on the device exactly for that purpose, accurate to around 10 metres by the techniology available then, I supposed. I could not recall exactly the milage on the milestone. If I have taken any photo of the milestone back then, it was generally lost over the years.
