After Japan invaded Manchuria
After Japan invaded Manchuria in 1931, anti-Japanese riots in Hong Kong sent Japanese nationals to take shelter in the school. Over 800 women and children were crowded in.
Just number 26
The title reads '26-28 Kennedy Road- IL 1378-1379', 'per: JAPANESE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION ORDINANCE, 1927'.
But the ordinance says they owned three lots of land: 'Inland Lot Nos. 1378 and 1879 and Section C of Inland Lot No. 1460'.
On Kennedy Road they only owned building 26 on IL 1378, not IL 1379.
We already have a Place page for 26 Kennedy Road at https://gwulo.com/26-kennedy-road, so I'll merge the information from this page to that one, and then delete this page.
