The Jockey Pub, Union House, Central district

My abiding memory of this place was when entering the premises from the overhead walkway, a heavy pint glass full of beer was sailing midway in the air across the room from a sozzled customer in an attempt to strike an equally inebriated one sat across the room.                                                                 No doubt these ‘captains of commerce’ had been there since lunchtime.

Not quite what I and my visitor to Hong Kong companion expected in a ‘Central District’ place of refreshment at 8 p.m. mid-week.
