Not a very distinct photo of HMS Titania anchored off what I assume to be the Hong Kong waterfront in 1928. It is at the end of the 1926-1928 album of William Richmond Fell who was captain of the L3 submarine with HMS Titania in 1928.

Manipulating the Titania image appears to reveal a yacht hull sitting on a cradle, presumably on the stern of the Titania.
Was WRF a yachtsman who brought a yacht back from Hong Kong?

I'm told that this would have been Titania's own yacht and would have needed several crew.
On the separate question of whether WRF was a yachtsman, he used to sail across Wellington harbour to school and back. All his sisters were accomplished sailors and rowers too.
