Report on Girl Guides 1922

This report is the sequel to the article on the scouts, guides and cubs at the time of the Prince of Wales's visit to Hong Kong in 1922. Both Mrs Reed and my aunt, Miss Evelyn Warren, who were helping to run the guides, left Hong Kong after the Prince of Wales's visit.

In my aunt's case, she had fallen in love with her future husband, Arthur Lewis, who was the Paymaster on HMS Cairo, accompanying the Prince of Wales and she decided to return to England. It is likely that they met at the ball given at Government House in the Prince of Wales's honour.

Please could I add Mrs Reed to the list of people being looked for. Angela Niles tells me that it couldn't have been her mother, only 13 years old in 1922.
