I am quite certain this photo was taken in Wan Chai. Can readers tell me what the reading is on top of the bus both in English and Chinese. Since there ws no route number, what was the bus used for ?
The bus was on Aberdeen Main Road and making a right turn onto Wu Nam Street.
The photographer took at least two photos of the same scene. The other appears on Flickr here The poster mentioned the CMB bus with blue and cream livery was a touring bus. I think the bus signage on top reads "Island Tour".
The mentioned photo hosted at flickr surely showed the words and could be read clearly. The one shown above appeared to be captured from a collection of photos being stiched into a slide show. When the slide show was uploaded to Youtube, the data compression simply made it worse.

Re: CMB bus
Hi there,
It is a CMB bus alright, thus definitely on HK side. However I am uncertain if it was Wanchai. If only we could read the destination of the bus.

Re: 晨光大茶樓
Hi there,
The red business sign partially showed 大茶樓。 Further digging showed it was 晨光大茶樓 in Aberdeen.

T is right. I have seen the photo before. It has been identified elsewhere as being taken in Aberdeen.
