The large building in the main photo has a slightly curved roof. The building appears near the northern end of Kowloon Wharf opposite the second finger pier from the top (north).
The large rectangular building at the southern end has a flatter roof and is much larger when compared to the northern one.
Yes, the building is at the northern end. Looking at the large buildings on the south and north sides, the one at the southern end is larger and is not the one in the main photo.
Many thanks to all for the information. I assume therefore that the railway tracks were used to collect freight from the ships and take it to the relevant warehousing

Likely viewing a boat moored alongside a pier. I think the northern end of Kowloon Wharves and closer to the Kowloon Naval Yard.

Agree with moddsey. The men are standing on the middle pier as seen here. I think the view goes to the south-east. The large building is this one.
