Welcome arch for the Duke of Connaught, Hong Kong, 1906

The photo in the collection is glued to an album which was made by Dr Marriott, who worked at the Peak Hospital from c.1905 to c.1920. The text reads:

A decorative welcome arch spans a city street in honour of the Duke of Connaught, who visited Hong Kong shortly before a devastating typhoon struck the city on 18 September.
