I wonder if this was on the site of today's Estoril Court? On older maps, Bowen Road started at the top of Garden Road and Magazine Gap Road forked off from it. Today it is the other way around.
While I could not find any conclusive proof that this was N0 3 Bowen Road it would make sense given the Mothers Choice building is No 5 Bowen Road. The two buildings were in existence c1898 to the late 1930s. Unlike ships, houses in HK at least, were seemingly renamed rather regularly.
