Replacing the temporary wooden crosses with the Portland(?) stone ones must have been a big job. The following photographs taken in and around the Lyemun camp must have been taken in the latter part of 1952 as Bill and his colleagues would move to Little Sai Wan in 1953, when I believe the accommodation block was completed.
