Sampans

Originally I thought that this and the next photograph were of the harbour at Cheung Chau, but my own photographs taken in 1957/8 do not show the concreted edge to the road.  Any thoughts?  (Andrew S)

As this photograph was in sequence with the next one, this too must be Cheung Chau and I believe the end of the pier is just visible at the top right, so it is more or less the same place  My own photograph taken in 1958 showing a sampan builder's small premises but no concrete sea wall was taken further to the north where no promenade existed at that time   Andrew
