amazingly enough this beautiful art deco building is still standing.  however with the spaghetti junction of flyovers in front etc it is not quite so visible.  i walked past this place on my way to school for some 10 years.  on the right of the photo was a stone set of steps leading up to kadoorie avenue - scary if you were alone - weirdos would often expose themselves en route , i guess we grew to believe in safety in numbers and took it all in our strides scaring them off with nervous communal laughter

What a wonderful old building a shame to destroy it.Many times i went past it up the steps to Kadoorie ave when i lived there in the late sixties....happy days.

It's now difficult to take a photo like this one as the flyover blocked the view. I had to walk into the middle of the vacant plot under the flyover for a photo.

When you walk along Kadoorie Avenue, you can find the land lot boundary stones/plates of CLP HQ (even other houses). However, some of them are hidden by the floor tiles. Is anyone know the whole set of land lot nos of CLP HQ?
