This was taken at the HK Electric staff quarters at Cavendish Heights on the viewing deck in front of the lawn bowls green, which was adjacent to the clubhouse. The houses you can see at the back were on Perkin's Road.

Cavendish Heights Jardin Lookout
I think I can recognise some of the kids in the photo. They have grown up when we moved in on July 1970. I am a little young than any of them.
We loved on Flat 29 , 37 Cavendish Heights which is just adjacent to the lawn bowls court. I saw the lawn rolled about twice a week from my bedroom.
We were the very last to move out on July 1983 and moved to Woodland Heights.
Cavendish Heights
Hi Larry, I remember you and your brother, though we were away at boarding school for much of the 1970s. We (the Bottomley family) lived at Flat 27, so just a couple of floors below you. The children in this photo are from left to right: Sarah Williams, unknown, Michael Gibson, Christopher Begg, Simon Williams, Brettony Mundy, Robin Bottomley (me!), Gillian Bottomley (now calls herself Nina), and possibly Mark Vipond at the end. Apart from Brettony and the Bottomleys, I believe all of these children had left Hong Kong by the time you moved into Cavendish Heights. We vacated Cavendish in September 1982, exactly 23 years to the date that my parents moved in there in September 1959. Very happy days. Hope all is well with you.
