This is another photo that I omitted from the original batch of William Richmond Fell's photos from his 1928-29 Hong Kong album. It shows some of the L3 submarine's crew on shore leave. I'm not sure which beach they are on. Perhaps someone can identify it. The only member of this group that I can recognize from other photos is Chief Engineer Waterson fully clothed on the far left.

Thanks Paul. I'll look it up. There are quite a few houses in the background that might be recognisable. I also wondered if it might be Wei hai wei, from where there are other photos. I just don't know.
