Paul E. Dutoit was born in London on 29 October 1913 to a Scottish mother and French-Swiss father.
On 10 May 1948 he moved to Hong Kong as a teacher with DBS and soon after became a committee member of the HK Automobile Association and a founder member of the Hong Kong Motor Sports Club.
He helped organise the innaugural Macau Grand Prix race in 1954 and participated in a TR2.
He retired from Hong Kong in October 1957 to Australia.

David, I believe that was a Belgian race driver namesake who was also a test driver for Dunlop. He is the reason I was initially confused about his identity.
There is an obituary of Paul Erik Dutoit on pages 15-16 and a black and white photo of the chap on page 14 of the 1964 edition of the Sydney Grammar School 'The Sydneian' (it's a 50.2MB pdf file!)
He acquired the love of cars and motor racing from his father.

There was a Paul Dutoit
There was a Paul Dutoit taking part in British motor racing in the early 1920s (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Prix_Sunbeams_1921,_1922_TT and https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/archive/person/paul-dutoit), possibly a relative of this man, or maybe he was born earlier than 1913.
