I find this a fascinating photo. It shows the 2nd Buxey Lodge in HK and the first on Conduit Road. The granite block walls to the upper garden with the balustrading on top still exist. The original path up follows the line of the current access road. And the granite block wall to upper Castle Road as it curves down and under Conduit Road looks mighty similar to what there is today.
