When Doug first posted his photos, I was curious to the location of the cottages. I googled the Church World Service (Hong Kong 1961) and found from their Annual Report that 27 cottages had been built for refugees in Tai Po Tsai (between Silver Strand and Hebe Haven, Sai Kung). The view of Shelter Island (Ngau Mei Chau) is confirmed.
