Chungking Arcade
In 1954 we used to frequent a local bar/cafe called Henrys in Chungking Arcade. It was run by a lady we called Ma. I was 18 year old RAF national serviceman. Happy days.
Henry's Cafe
The "lady we called Ma" was Mrs Mabel Lowcock. She was the niece of Sir Robert Kotewall, and the widow of Henry Lowcock (after whom the cafe was named) who was killed in action in the RAFVR and is buried in Karachi.
