Thank you, IDJ for finding this advert too. I don't have it. It will go into the collection. I seem to remember that the "handsome tiles" in the bathroom at Eucliffe Castle were remarked on in a newspaper article. My uncle, Leslie Warren, was responsible for the bathroom and plumbing at Eucliffe Castle, as well as designing the gates. Tiles were the bread and butter of the company. I've said elsewhere that my grandfather, Charles Warren, named his racehorses "Pantile", "Blue Tile", "White Tile", "Grey Tile" etc. according to the colour of their coats and presumably to advertise his business. They were known as "Tile ponies" in the Happy Valley racing reports. My grandfather used the racing name Mr Towers, after the name of his house in Broadwood Road.
