This lady returned to the docks in Durban 1956/1957 to greet troopships heading to and from Hong Kong when the Suez Canal was closed during and after the 1956 Suez Canal War. Land of Hope and Glory - There Always be An England- etc. - there are many of us still around, servicemen/women and their families who will always remember her, as we arrived/ departed the port of Durban.
