Oh David, you tease! I was trying to identify those buildings as you posted!

I'm fairly confident that the ones on the right side of the pic (behind the Military Bungalows in the foreground) are all on Coombe Road.

Based on the 1909 map;

- the only residence seen below Coombe Road is maybe "Coombe", 152 The Peak, but I'm not sure as two buildings share the same terrace in the photo whilst only one building is marked on the map.

- sitting just above Coombe Road on the right side of the photo are three residences. From right to left, I think they are (a). Magdelene Terrace, 149,150 & 151 The Peak (one building), (b). The Kennels, 147 The Peak, (c). Harford, 148 The Peak.

Further to the left along Coombe Road, the two storey building in the centre of the photo should be Smith's Villas,  numbered 154 (East) and 146 (West) The Peak (one building).

I think the road from where the photo was taken, and which snakes around to run beneath the nearest house, is Craigmin Road. If so, that house should be Craigmin West whilst Craigmin East is out of sight behind it, albeit the same building.

These are initial thoughts, subject to confirmation. If confirmed I'll update the "places".

I have added a comparison below to try to identify the building. Correction/additions welcome.

I am leaning towards the photo being dated 1905-1910. It is part of a set of three, the other two being here and here.  The below picture is c1915 and is a similar view of the area
