Stone Beacon ruins at Tin Ha Shan summit, Clear Water Bay Rd

This beacon is believed to be the one of the five beacons built in Qing Dynasty in 1668 for the reinforcement of military coastal defence system.

This photos shows that the trigo station established by Govt in nowadays occupies the place of the existing beacon relics and therefore the beacon's stone slabs fell and toppled down to the slope in a circular pattern. If the stone slabs are picked up and re-stack again the beacon can be resurrected.
