structure at Upper Baguio Villa 1.JPG

This is a structure right above the roundabout at the entrance of Upper Baguio Villa. I have always wonder what this was. The cross on the roof of the structure is still there, though not sure for how much longer without proper maintenance. The other photo that I upload is a structure to the left of the one you see here. Look like they are part of the same structure.

So, what was this structure before? Part of Bethanie? Were they demolished before Baguio was built or "collateral damage" for developing Baguio?

Interesting, I haven't noticed that before.

Years ago I scrambled down the hillside from Pokfulam Road, and ended up in the car park of Upper Baguio. On the way down I passed a small building that looked like a Roman Catholic shrine. I don't remember exactly where it was though.

The cross in this photo makes a connection with Bethanie likely - can anyone tell us more about it?

Hi there,

I believe there are abandoned foot paths on the slopes just west of the Bethanie.  I had been thinking where did those lead to when I was there a few years ago.  Checked out GeoInfo Map and found some paved paths (solid parallel lines), overgrown paths (dotted lines) together with steps going down to Upper Baguio Villa.
