Photo's right is the Cheung Chau's southern coastline. The NDB Station is the last building by the Peak Road west. The old site of #29 House and the Laura's Mystery Rocks group are on this southern slope and cliff area.
The photo's left is the CC NDB approach over Cheung Chau in the 1950s and 60s . Most commercial jetliners would take a let-down maneuver as if going to land on the water of Tung Wan beach. A joy ride many pilots thrilled to do but not to talk about until recently.
