Interesting photograph in as much as it depicts,in summer uniform,the ethnic mix of the junior officers of the Force at that time.Regretably their shoulder numbers with the Contingent prefix are not shown and ranks are not all clear but from left we have European ( A prefix to number ),Indian Muslim & Indian Sikh ( both bore the B prefix),a Chinese Corporal (could be Cantonese with C or Shantung with D ) and a Russian (E) Sgt of the Anti-Piracy Guard. 

Oh,and before anyone asks - members of the Police Reserve junior cadre wore an epaulette badge bearing an R over their number,irregardless of ethnic origin.
