"Tenders Called For Two Big Projects

Tenders for the construction of a new Queen's Pier and a sports stadium at Sookunpoo are called for in today's Gazette.

The notices called for tenders for the construction of a reinforced concrete pier approximately 200 feet long and 80 feet wide, and for the formation of a football field, running track, terraced seating for 30,000 spectators and road formation from Caroline Hill Road to Tung Wah Eastern Hospital."
