Interesting to note that the lack of attention to facts for which the SCMP is lambasted is part of the Hong Kong heritage and not a recent thing at all.
Either that or some great natural disaster knocked Victoria Gap down from 3000 feet to its current 1300 feet or so.

Yes, never let the facts get in the way of a good story! I've got another good example of creative journalism in the queue of things to scan and post.
