Hi All. I just thought I would start a forum topic on this since I have seen it alot in the SCMP and other news outlets recently. It seems that not only downed Japanese plane wrecks could exist from the Battle of Hong Kong, but also. TBM Avenger wrecks have been found.

Although it is noted 4 out of the 6 downed planes crashed into the harbour, 2 are left unaccounted for.
In addition, I remember reading wartime reports of at least 1 Japanese plane being shot down by the Wong Nai Chung Gap AA battery and have heard of many other downed aircraft.
Both the articles do not give indications of where the wrecks are and I was wondering if anyone had seen any of the wrecks before when pillbox hunting in Tai Tam Country Park, etc.
Any ideas?
