I think we can see a pillbox towards the eastern end of the beach in this Hedda Morrison Photo:

Pillbox 018, Repulse Bay

I've made a guess at the location on the map above.

T, I think it was around a bit longer than that. On another photo, it noted that the Lido was built in 1935, before the pillbox. Also if you look at the full Hedda Morrison photo above, you can see the Lido to the right of the pillbox.

With reference to the provision of first aid at Repulse Bay Beach, the Director of Urban Services commented that on weekdays a first aid post is provided at the pillbox near the covered nullah adjacent to the Lido and manned by staff of the Urban Services. On weekends and public holidays, the service is provided by members of the St John Ambulance.

The object behind the men at time 1.48 is a Lyon Light Shelter (LL), not a PB. Whether it is LL 018 or not I can't say but the apparent roadway behind them in front of the LL makes me suspect it is LL 017.

At time 1.22 PB 017 is visible in the distance above the shoreline. Of interest is the beach sand level then, as it is now somewhere about the level of the loopholes.
