HK and China Gas, Jordan Road
Thanks for this photo. I walked by this site years ago but memory of its appearance has faded until now. That hot humid summer day didn't help besides the smell coming out of this site. Number 12 bus connecting Jordan Harbour and Lai Chi Kok Beach used Shanghai Street in both directions (I may be wrong) in the early 1950s so I wonder when it changed to one way traffic.
