Shown in the photo is a tuck shop which you may order snacks, or lunch, if the timing is right. I was early last time passing there so I just sit there for a bit more than half an hour and had had a couple of glasses of chilled black soy milk. Quite a relief on a hot day.
There are chilled bottled or canned drinks as well. A bit more pricey than 7/11's but at such remote locations it is expected.
Greetings tngan/readers. I like to compare old and recent photos to see how the place has changed due to housing development. Google has a sphere view taken from the right of this building and I say this is where I would like to spend the retirement years. It shows the lined ditch with amazingly clean mountain water for crops, and no other nearby homes/buildings are visible from this spot. Regards, Peter
