In December 2012 in the UK a steam locomotive's nameplate titled ‘HONG KONG’ was auctioned at a specialist auction house reaching a winning bid of 14,200 pounds. This will be one of a pair. The locomotive built in 1934 carried the name from 1936 until 1964 when it was scrapped
